“There is music that affects everyone”: composer Eduard Artemyev turns 85
People's Artist of Russia Eduard Artemyev was born in Novosibirsk on November 30, 1937. After graduating from the Moscow State P. I. Tchaikovsky Conservatory, he devoted himself to the study of electronic music - this direction determined the work of Artemyev. The composer has worked on works for dozens of theatrical productions, and also wrote music for about 200 films and TV series. His compositions can be heard in the films "Purely English Murder", "Stalker", "Burnt by the Sun", "Courier", "Legend No. 17" and many others.
