The Television Academy proclaims María Casado the winner, "the only candidacy that remains in the process"

María Casado will continue to lead the Television Academy despite the commotion generated by the alternative candidacy led by Mayte Pascual who was running for the elections last Monday, from which she withdrew

amid accusations of "irregularities".

This noisy withdrawal was accompanied by criticism of the electoral board that supervises the process and has ruined the elections, which could not be held.
