Famed Italian fashion designer Renato Balestra has died in Rome at the age of 98. This, according to RIA Novosti, was reported to journalists by his daughters Fabiana and Federica. Balestra also created stage costumes for Gina Lollobrigida, Sophia Loren and other famous Italian actresses. On January 24, it became known that the French designer, photographer and founder of the Mugler fashion house, Thierry Mugler, died at the age of 74.
