[Explanation] The search and rescue work of the "11.21" fire accident in Anyang, Henan Province, which killed 38 people, was basically over. A reporter from China News Agency rushed to the scene of the incident on the 22nd and saw that the factory building where the incident occurred was severely burned, and the top partially collapsed.
[Explanation] At about 16:00 on November 21, a fire accident occurred in the workshop of Anyang Kaixinda Trading Co., Ltd.
Anyang "11.21" Fire Accident Disposal Work Headquarters reported that as of the 22nd, the search and rescue work for the accident was basically over.
After verification, 38 people were unfortunately killed (including 2 people who had lost contact before).
According to the preliminary judgment, the accident was caused by the illegal operation of the enterprise personnel, and the electric welding caused the fire.
[Explanation] According to public information, the company involved in the incident was established in December 2007 and is a wholesale company.
Local witnesses said in an interview with a reporter from China News Agency that the first floor of the factory where the incident occurred was a warehouse and the second floor was a garment processing area. When the incident occurred, thick smoke was billowing and accompanied by flames.

The second floor of the warehouse is for making underwear, the first floor caught fire first, (on the second floor) there were several people we all knew before, and then at least four or five people did not come out.

(Rescue) Basically, there are more than 200 firefighters and more than 60 train trips.
Around eleven o'clock, (the fire) was largely extinguished.
[Explanation] The reporter saw at the scene on the 22nd that the factory building where the incident occurred was severely burned, with a partial collapse on the top, and the fire did not burn and the surrounding factory area.
Near the scene of the incident, some flowers sent by mourners were placed on the side of the road.

Since the fire broke out at 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon, we are still in a state of emergency rescue, because it is not a simple fire, we must lift up all the collapsed parts to see if there is any pressure on us common people.
[Explanation] On the morning of the 22nd, the Henan Provincial Party Committee and the Henan Provincial Government held a video and telephone conference on production safety in Anyang, demanding to learn from the lessons of the "11.21" fire accident in Anyang and keep the bottom line of production safety in the province.
On the same day, Wang Xiangxi, deputy director of the Work Safety Committee of the State Council and director of China's Emergency Management Department, led a working group to rush to the fire scene in Anyang, Henan Province to guide the emergency response work.
