This is the year of Taylor Swift.

After the MTV Europe Music Awards where she triumphed, this time it was at the American Music Awards that the popstar won the day.

The singer leaves the ceremony with six awards, including Artist of the Year.

“In recent years, I've released more music than in the entire previous decade.

I really think it's because you fans have made it clear that you want to hear a lot of music from me,” she explained in her speech.

Taylor Swift's victory is all the more impressive as she won all the awards for which she was nominated while she was often pitted against industry behemoths like Adele, Beyoncé, or Drake!
