[Explanation] The Eighth Cross-Strait Students Forum was held in Xiamen, Fujian Province on November 20. More than 300 young students and scholars from more than 70 universities on both sides of the Strait, including Peking University, Tsinghua University and National Taiwan University, participated in the meeting, focusing on "Struggle and New Bureau" Topic exchanges and discussions.

[Explanation] Liu Guoshen, director of the Collaborative Innovation Center for the Peaceful Development of Cross-Strait Relations and a professor at the Taiwan Research Institute of Xiamen University, explained the theme of "struggle and new situation" at the meeting.
He said that the struggle described the extraordinary development of cross-strait relations over the past 100 years, and the new situation revealed the historical orientation of peaceful and integrated development of cross-strait relations.

The combination of the following methods is to provide young students from both sides of the strait with a platform for mutual exchange and dialogue, and a platform for mutual understanding.
