Al Dhafra Festival launches a poetry competition in "Description of Camels"

The Committee for the Management of Festivals and Cultural and Heritage Programs in Abu Dhabi launched a distinguished poetry competition under the title "Description of Camels", as part of the activities of the 16th session of the Al Dhafra Festival.

The competition aims to enhance the heritage in describing the beauty of purebred camels from the localities and Majahim, and the role of the camel, which is a major symbol of heritage in the country.

The Organizing Committee has allocated prizes for the winners of the first three places, as the first place winner will receive 25 thousand dirhams, the second place will receive 15 thousand dirhams, and the third place winner will receive 10 thousand dirhams.

The committee stated that registration is open to all ages and nationalities of poets wishing to participate until December 20.
