The Grand Journalism Prize is awarded in five categories;

Voice of the Year, Storyteller of the Year, Innovator of the Year, Disclosure of the Year and Lukas Bonnier's Great Journalist Award.

This year, the winners were presented by journalist Katrine Marçal.

Storyteller of the year

Maggie Strömberg and Torbjörn Nilsson for their article series on "Politicians who brought Sweden into NATO" in Svenska Dagbladet.

"With distinctive storytelling, they give nerve and life to political decisions, and give us access to the rooms where history is written," reads the jury's objection.

Innovator of the year

Martin Schibbye, Partik Arnesson and Brit Stakston for their journalistic storytelling in football cards;

"Cards of Qatar", Blankspot.

Voice of the Year:

Andreas Cervenka, for the economics book "Girig-Sverige" and the articles on the same theme he wrote for Aftonbladet.

Disclosure of the year:

With the jury's justification, "this year's disclosure unearths what someone tried to hide", the award goes to Kalla fakat's Emil Hellerud, Emilia Berggren Sörlin and Daniel Gökinan for "Parties' secret money".

Lukas Bonnier's major journalism award

According to tradition, the final award goes to "a journalist who has demonstrated skill and outstanding journalistic work over a long period of time".

 With the jury's justification that she "makes the listeners feel like experts", this year's winner in the category is Ginna Lindberg, head of Ekot's foreign editorial office and US commentator on Sveriges Radio.

She can also be heard on "USApodden".

- Making the policy and the big decisions concrete is the key.

Then it's important to be out in the field from time to time to really understand politics, she says during the award ceremony.
