Ajinomoto Frozen Foods announced that it will voluntarily recall about 60,000 bags of the target product, saying that part of the tray was accidentally mixed with the frozen shumai manufactured at the Shikoku factory.

The voluntarily recalled frozen food “The Shumai” manufactured by Ajinomoto Frozen Foods at a factory in Kagawa Prefecture has an expiration date of September 16, 2023, and a symbol representing the factory in the expiration date column of the package. The product written as "KG" is 60,600 bags in total.



According to the company, a customer who ate the product on November 10 contacted him saying that "something like black plastic was in it", and after investigating, part of the tray used to put the product was mixed in. It means that you have found out.



The company believes that the tray was accidentally inserted during the manufacturing process of the product.



The products in question have been shipped to the Hokuriku, Chubu, Kinki, and Chugoku and Shikoku regions, and so far there have been no reports of health hazards.
