This Hérault commune is located about ten kilometers from Béziers.

Forty-five reports were drawn up for illegal constructions or the establishment of caravans and mobile homes in violation of town planning rules.

Offenders incur fines and daily penalties of up to 500 euros per day of delay in the restoration of the land, eviction from the premises, demolition of illegally constructed structures and prison sentences.
