[Explanation] Either cold and elegant, or charming and graceful, or luxurious and graceful, in the classic Hong Kong film "In the Mood for Love", Maggie Cheung played Su Lizhen with more than 20 various cheongsams to show the beauty of oriental women. The Hong Kong costume aesthetics is vividly presented in front of people.

Our Hong Kong cheongsam is actually called a cheongsam in the mainland. When we originated in 1920, Zhang Ailing's works all mentioned the cheongsam.

Our golden age was actually in the 1950s and 1960s, because many masters from Shanghai came to Hong Kong, so we had many masters who made cheongsam.

Therefore, in the 1950s and 1960s, the cheongsam culture in Hong Kong was very extensive.

[Explanation] For Hong Kong designer Chen Shuzhi, she has loved traditional Chinese clothing for many years, and she is familiar with the evolution of long gowns over the years.

In her shop at the top of Mount Taiping, a Hong Kong landmark, there is a dazzling array of uniquely designed cheongsams.

People can choose their favorite clothes carefully here, or they can try them on and take photos and punch cards to experience the beauty of long gowns.

I think when I come to different tourist destinations, maybe Japan will wear kimonos, and when I go to Korea, I will wear hanboks. In fact, Hong Kong belongs to a part of China, and we all need the highest tourist attraction in Hong Kong, so we can try our cheongsam.

[Explanation] Slightly different from the traditional cheongsam, Chen Shuzhi's design incorporates modern fashion elements into the classics, interweaving the ancient and the modern, and integrating the East and the West. She hopes to break the stereotype of people's cheongsam through her ingenious and trendy design, and integrate traditional Chinese clothing. into the daily life of today's young people.

When you see a traditional long gown, I actually added some cloth strips to the front. This is my design. Adding it to the top actually makes a long gown that was originally plain, but now it has become a very fashionable one. gown.

In addition to this one around me, in fact, in addition to using patterns and patterns to express the cheongsam, we will actually use some patterns that the younger generation likes, such as table tennis balls. The bead buttons represent table tennis. In fact, these novel designs can make the young generation of women come into contact with the gown and fall in love with the gown.

[Explanation] The cheongsam culture has gone through a hundred years, and it has changed with the changes in people's lifestyles and aesthetic tastes in different times, thus deducing colorful styles.

The height of the collar, the length of the sleeves, and the height of the slits can be described as ever-changing, but in Chen Shuzhi's view, all changes are inseparable from the original. The construction method that has been passed down from generation to generation, one stitch and one thread, must not be sloppy.

When we make a gown, in addition to drawing the pattern at the beginning, then after we finish drawing the pattern, we cut the fabric (according to the pattern), and one of the parts is about the most important collar.

We will cut a collar out of the collar, because the collar will actually touch (the neck), so we will put a piece of fabric on it first, and then we will sew it back with a needle, stitch by stitch, and finally we A piece of cloth will also be added, and according to the position, we will sew them together from the bottom, sew them back from here, and sew them one by one. After sewing, such a long shirt collar is completed.

[Explanation] In addition to clothing, Chen Shuzhi also incorporated the elements of cheongsam into daily necessities such as porcelain, dolls, aprons, brooches, etc., hoping to make more people realize the beauty of traditional oriental clothing.

Some traditional flower buttons, which are our buttons, have evolved into earrings and brooches.

In addition, we also have some handicrafts, which are all about the elements of long gowns.

There are some ceramic products of cheongsam, and some designers hand-painted some elements that they like about cheongsam in some cups and bowls. We also have some dolls (dolls), in fact, these dolls are some handicrafts.

In fact, I hope that through different daily necessities and accessories, I hope to add the concept of cheongsam to different elements, and I hope that more people can recognize the element of cheongsam in different fields.
