The Ministry of Defense announced on the 5th that Air Self-Defense Force fighters and US military bombers conducted joint training over the East China Sea around Kyushu.

As the security environment becomes more severe, such as North Korea repeatedly launching ballistic missiles, he confirmed the readiness of the Self-Defense Forces and the U.S. military.

Joint training was conducted with five Air Self-Defense Force F2 fighters, two U.S. Air Force B1 bombers, and two F16 fighters, a total of nine aircraft.

According to the Ministry of Defense, on the afternoon of the 5th, tactical training was conducted over the East China Sea northwest of Kyushu, and photos of flying in formation were released.

Two B1 bombers are participating in a large-scale joint exercise by the US and South Korean air forces on the 5th.

Regarding the Japan-U.S. joint exercise, the Ministry of Defense said, ``As the security environment becomes more severe, with North Korea repeatedly launching ballistic missiles, etc., we will confirm the readiness of the Self-Defense Forces and the U.S. military to deal with any situation. Japan and the United States will demonstrate their strong will and close cooperation both at home and abroad."
