In her message shared on Twitter, the star urges women to seek a second medical opinion.

"Ladies in particular: don't get carried away," she insists.

"GET A SECOND OPINION. It could save your life."

This isn't the first time Sharon Stone has had health issues.

More than 20 years ago, in 2001, the actress already suffered from benign tumors.

She described them as "gigantic" and "bigger than her chest" in her autobiography

The Beauty of Living Twice

, released in March 2021. At the time, the star also suffered a brain hemorrhage.

And, she didn't have much support

“People treated me in a rough and mean way,” she explained to American magazine

Variety

in 2019. “From Hollywood women to the judge who took care of my child custody case, I don't think anyone has grasped how dangerous a stroke is for women and the energy it takes to recover. It took me about seven years."
