[Explanation] The nuclear energy heating demonstration project of Liaoning Hongyanhe Nuclear Power Station was officially put into operation on November 1st. This project is the first nuclear energy heating project in Northeast China, benefiting nearly 20,000 residents in the surrounding Hongyanhe Town.

  With the strong support of local governments at all levels, our nuclear energy heating project is progressing relatively smoothly, and the commissioning of the heat source side inside the nuclear power plant has been completed.

The primary network inside and outside the venue has entered a hot state of operation since October 19, and the current water temperature has reached 60 degrees.

Up to now, our four off-site heat exchange stations and the secondary network flushing suppression have been completed. They have been put into use one after another on October 30, and the heating will be officially launched on November 1.

  [Explanation] As the first nuclear power plant and the largest energy investment project in Northeast China, the first and second phases of the Hongyanhe Nuclear Power Plant have built a total of 6 nuclear power units. Put into commercial operation.

In June this year, six units of the first and second phases of the Hongyanhe Nuclear Power Plant were fully put into operation, becoming the largest nuclear power plant in China in terms of installed capacity.

  With the full opening of the plug for heating, various operating data will be intensively presented on the smart big screen through each module. At that time, the production operation center will effectively play the central role of dispatching and commanding. Through monitoring and analysis, the automatic control and adjustment of the heating system can be realized to ensure the balance of the heating network, balanced heating, and on-demand heating, so that the people of Hongyanhe Town can enjoy safe, stable and high-quality heating services.

  [Explanation] Hongyanhe Nuclear Power Plant Nuclear Energy Heating Demonstration Project takes Hongyanhe Town, Wafangdian, Dalian as a pilot project, with a planned heating area of ​​242,400 square meters and a maximum heating load of 12.77 megawatts (MW). The steam extraction from the steam turbine is used as a heat source to replace the original 12 coal-fired boiler rooms in Hongyanhe Town, so as to realize clean heating in Hongyanhe Town.

  In the past, our heating was a small boiler at home, and the maximum indoor temperature could reach seventeen or eighteen degrees.

After connecting to the grid, it is conservatively estimated that the temperature can reach 234 degrees, the key is to save money, the environment is good, and the hygiene is good.

  We just turned on the heat today, and it feels warm to the touch. It feels much warmer than last year.

  [Explanation] It is estimated that after the project is put into operation, it will reduce the consumption of standard coal by 5,726 tons per year, reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 14,000 tons, more than 209 tons of soot, more than 60 tons of sulfur dioxide, more than 85 tons of nitrogen oxides, and 2,621 tons of ash. Environmental benefits Significantly, it will effectively improve the atmospheric environment of the heating area.

According to Hu Ruping, deputy chief technical engineer of Liaoning Hongyanhe Nuclear Power Co., Ltd., as early as 2014, Hongyanhe Nuclear Power employees had adopted nuclear energy for heating at the Hongyanhe Nuclear Power Base where they work and live on a daily basis.

  Multiple isolation barriers are adopted between our users and the nuclear power unit, and a reverse differential pressure design is adopted between different circuits. During the heat exchange process, only heat energy is transferred without any direct contact of the medium. Before the hot water of the first heat exchange station leaves the factory, we have added online monitoring devices and automatic isolation devices to ensure absolute safety of heating, and residents and friends can use nuclear energy heating with peace of mind.

  [Explanation] Liaoning Hongyanhe Nuclear Power said that the nuclear heating demonstration project of Hongyanhe Nuclear Power Station is a people's livelihood project and people's heart project for clean heating in Northeast China.
