  On October 28, the Mengrun sub-station of the Mohan border inspection station received an alarm from the masses and reported that 11 wild Asian elephants were found playing and foraging in the fields and forests of the border villages.

After receiving the alarm, the immigration management police of Mengrun Substation immediately contacted the forest public security and forestry departments, using drones during the day and thermal imaging equipment to monitor the real-time dynamics of elephants at night.

And according to the local road traffic, geographical environment, village distribution and other conditions, traffic control is carried out on the area where Asian elephants pass by, and warning signs are set up to guide people to avoid people and vehicles from disturbing the elephants.
