The second son of actor Yoshiko Mita, Yuya Takahashi (42), who is self-employed in Minato-ku, Tokyo, was arrested.
According to the Metropolitan Police Department, late last month, he was suspected of violating the stimulant drug control law by hiding about 0.01 grams of stimulants in his home.
An acquaintance consulted him, and when the Metropolitan Police Department investigated, stimulants were found in his home and he was arrested late last month.
Investigators say he has admitted to the charges.
Takahashi has been convicted of using stimulants in the past, and the Metropolitan Police Department is investigating the acquisition route.
