Interprofessional strike day, the SNCF and RATP networks impacted
Beware of the hassle of getting around by train or RER this Tuesday... With the interprofessional strike day launched, the circulation of regional trains will be disrupted, with one TER and one Intercity train out of two on average in France, as well as on the networks from Ile-de-France.
TGV traffic will only be affected marginally.
The strike call was launched on Thursday by the CGT, the first representative union at SNCF, and SUD-Rail, the third, to demand wage increases and protest against requisitions in the energy sector, while other sectors could mobilize that day.
Truck drivers will join the movement in particular.
In the midst of the wave of Covid-19, the start of the flu vaccination
If the flu thought it could hide behind the Covid-19, it failed.
France is launching its flu vaccination campaign today, the authorities hoping to avoid a heavy epidemic in a health context already marked by a wave of Covid-19.
The people targeted will be able to get a free flu shot from a doctor, pharmacy, nurse or midwife.
These people mainly include people over 65, pregnant women, severely obese (BMI over 40) and patients with certain chronic diseases such as diabetes.

Finally haloed… As expected for months, Benzema won the Ballon d'Or by an overwhelming majority, becoming the first French player to be crowned since Zinédine Zidane in 1998. The latter presented him with the trophy, with a discreet hug: " I am delighted, it is for you Karim”.
