On October 17, the Hong Kong Science and Technology Park Corporation cooperated with the City Department Co., Ltd. to obtain the approval of the Transport Department of the SAR Government to carry out the experiment of autonomous vehicles on the open road in the Pak Shek Kok Science Park.
The plan simulates in a smart city, provides road users with key vehicle connections for the first and last journeys to and from the public transport system, and collects simulated live data to help the development of smart travel solutions and realize the smart city blueprint.
