Since 2017, the water quality of the Chongqing section of the main stream of the Yangtze River has been maintained at Class II, and the tributaries of the Yangtze River have completely eliminated the water quality of the sub-category V section, and the water environment safety of the Three Gorges Reservoir has been effectively guaranteed.

Fluctuation Belt Wetland Park Becomes Camping Hotspot

Big data "draws" a "picture" of sewage outfalls into the river

  Xiaojiagou Reservoir, located in Liangjiang New District, is the source of the Tiaodun River in the Jialing River system, and was heavily eutrophicated before remediation.

Today, the water quality of the reservoir has been upgraded from inferior V to IV, and the breeze blows through the blue waves.

Automatic water quality monitoring station operates around the clock

At the Jinjiahe Yuanzi automatic water quality monitoring station in the Yangtze River Basin, Bai Yili, deputy director of the water room of the Chongqing Ecological Environment Monitoring Center, introduced that when the monitoring section was first established, the assessment target was Category V. , identify the problem node and prescribe the right medicine. At present, the water quality of this section has been stable for a long time in class III.

  At present, Chongqing has 164 municipal-level water quality monitoring sections. A total of 98 sections have built automatic water quality monitoring stations, all of which have real-time sampling and analysis capabilities for 5 water quality parameters and 4 pollutant indicators, and 24-hour real-time automatic monitoring and uploading of data. , each site can obtain about 24 sets of monitoring data every day.
