A driver in his 20s was arrested after a sightseeing bus carrying passengers on a day trip overturned on a prefectural road in Oyama, Shizuoka Prefecture on the 13th, killing one passenger and injuring 35 others. According to police, Emiko Edagawa (74), a bus passenger from Iruma City, Saitama Prefecture, died in the accident.

Police arrested Yuta Noguchi (26), a driver in Hanno City, Saitama Prefecture, on the spot on suspicion of negligent driving injury.

Also, according to the bus operator, Noguchi driver had no experience of riding on the same course in the past, and this was the first time.
