[Explanation] In September this year, the "Compulsory Education Labor Curriculum Standard (2022 Edition)" began to be implemented, and labor class officially became a curriculum in primary and secondary schools.

Recently, a reporter from China News Agency learned from some primary and secondary schools in Nanjing that the labor courses offered are rich and colorful, and some schools also put labor courses in the fields to cultivate children's quality of hard work.

[Explanation] On the campus of Nanjing Foreign Language School Xianlin Campus, there is a "small farm" of 11 acres. The labor curriculum of the middle school department was upgraded again. The teacher "divided the land from the "small farm" into the class. Each of the 13 classes in the first grade contracted a piece of land to carry out daily maintenance and management such as sowing, weeding, fertilizing, and harvesting.

Labor is very honorable. I have never experienced such labor courses in other schools. What I can feel here is that although it is very hard, I feel very happy to see the fruits of my labor.

[Explanation] "Small Farm" is the school's garden within a garden, a rural ecological pastoral garden integrating breeding, farming and gardening, and it is also the second classroom for the implementation of quality education.

According to the relevant person in charge of the school, at the beginning of the school, they attached great importance to labor education.

Assign each vegetable field to each squadron of each class, and each squadron will make a weekly plan by going to our vegetable field for sowing, weeding, or harvesting vegetables in the later stage, etc., including The daily management is equivalent to their "responsibility field", so that every Young Pioneer has something in mind and everyone has a job to do.

[Explanation] In Lukou No. 2 Primary School, Jiangning District, Nanjing City, every day, teachers of labor classes take students to the "Xinxin Vegetable Garden" on campus for labor.

Cutting leeks, watering, weeding... The students experienced the hard work and the joy of harvesting.

This semester, our school has carried out many labor classes and also carried out many activities at the same time. Among these activities, I am most impressed by the activity of "I am a cook today".

  [Concurrent] Student Lin Mengqi

Today, my classmates and I wore this straw hat and came to our school's "Xinxin Vegetable Garden" to pull weeds and cut leeks, and learned a lot of life skills.

  [Concurrent] Student Tao Yaxuan

Through my own labor, I have harvested what I have grown, and I feel very happy.

Now, we (plant) have water spinach, spinach, coriander, radish, and celery, etc., let our children know the names of these vegetables not only from books, but also on the (planting) base.

When it (vegetable) is ripe, send it to our cafeteria, cook it with your own hands, and enjoy the fruits of your labor.

[Explanation] The school has also created a "make life more beautiful" handmade classroom, where art teachers guide and teach hands-on, allowing children to experience the charm of handmade.

After we have processed it (and then) through some special means, we can paint some gourd pyrography or color painting, as well as some of our dustpan paintings.

Let labor "take root" in the field, organically integrate labor and our disciplines, taught by our art teachers, students plant and harvest gourds, including some peanuts, and creatively paint on them, not only training students The hands-on ability also allows students to establish a sense of innovation.
