[Explanation] National treasures of holographic projection, vivid and interesting animations, and display boards that entertain and teach... On October 10, the Palace Museum and the Chinese Academy of Culture jointly announced the launch of the textbook "Our Forbidden City" for primary and secondary schools in Hong Kong. We have exhibition boards, (learning) platforms, different teaching materials, articles, (content includes) the beauty of architecture, the beauty of characters, (the Forbidden City) the four seasons, the whole story of the Forbidden City and the history of the Forbidden City.

All these things, all these teaching resources will be placed in primary and secondary schools, and primary and secondary school students can learn online and offline.

The Forbidden City supports us a lot, so we can tell the whole story of the Forbidden City to the students.

[Commentary] How do people in the Forbidden City spend the twenty-four solar terms?

What are the leisure and entertainment of the emperor?

How is the royal wedding handled?

In front of the textbook display board for primary and secondary schools, the reporter saw that the colorful cartoon drawings combined with the real photos and pictures of cultural relics in the Forbidden City vividly showed the life of the ancients in the Forbidden City and the traditional culture behind them.

You can see our primary school (teaching) version, their text is a little less, and through some questions and answers, students are guided to understand the beauty of life in the entire Forbidden City.

For example (the ancients) what kind of culture did they eat?

What games and toys do they have?

By scanning this QR code, they can easily see the answer through a picture.

In terms of middle school, we chose a more difficult (knowledge point) to talk about. For example, what etiquette do they have when it comes to getting married?

The interest of primary school students and the knowledge of middle school students can be used to learn more about the culture of the Forbidden City from different aspects.

[Explanation] It is understood that this series of teaching materials is the first teaching resource launched by the Palace Museum in cooperation with a Hong Kong institution.

Qiu Yi, Dean of the Chinese Cultural Institute, said that he hopes that the series of textbooks "Our Forbidden City" can be further promoted in primary and secondary schools in Hong Kong, so that students can learn from, understand, appreciate and love Chinese culture.

Let's do a simple calculation now. There should be 60 schools that are interested in the next semester, which is basically 60,000 to 70,000 students.

Then through this (they) have a little more understanding of Chinese culture, not only the understanding of words, but also the understanding of pictures and entities.

Our teaching materials will continue to be published, but at the same time, there may be new activities between our Hong Kong students and Beijing students to strengthen cultural exchanges and educational exchanges between the mainland and Hong Kong.
