He pointed to the emergence of new tourist patterns, such as what he called "fashion tourism", which began to find its way to the temples of the Pharaohs in Luxor, similar to the international fashion show presented by the Italian House of Stefano Ricci, in the square of the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, yesterday evening, Sunday, which attracted hundreds of visitors. Those who came from many continents to see the show, which was held to celebrate the golden jubilee of Stefano Ricci fashion house.

Abdel Hamid explained that fashion festivals and shows enjoy great follow-up by the media and various social media platforms, and achieve great publicity for the destinations of cultural tourism in Egypt.

He added that other factors had an impact on the state of recovery, whose indicators began to appear in the purposes of cultural tourism, such as the opening of the processions road known as the Pharaonic Rams Road, which extends in the heart of Luxor with a length of 2,700 meters and is adorned with hundreds of statues on its sides.

While the director of a tourism company in Luxor, Osama Abdel-Ghani, referred to another tourist pattern known to the Egyptian tourism sector, which has become known as “astronomy tourism”, which was limited to the phenomenon of the sun perpendicular to the temples of Abu Simbel south of Aswan.

He added that several cities, including Luxor, knew this type of tourism, and visitors were keen to witness astronomical phenomena in famous temples.

For his part, Badawy Ashour, one of the workers in the Nile tourism sector between Luxor and Aswan, said that the "Nile Dahabiat" trips have become an important pattern in the Nile tourism sector, and they are attracting a special category of the most spending tourists, as they come to enjoy the tourist trips carried out by the "Dahabiyat". The Nile” in the middle of the Nile River between Luxor and Aswan, which are trips that are dedicated to one family, or a few group of friends.

He explained that these Dahabiyas wander in the middle of the Nile quietly and without noise, to allow their tourists the opportunity to enjoy the Nile River and the picturesque nature of the areas overlooking its two shores, in addition to visiting the ancient temples in the cities that extend along the governorates of Luxor and Aswan.
