The Hong Kong Palace Museum was officially opened to the public on July 3. The special exhibition "Treasures of the Country - Paintings and Calligraphy of Jin, Tang, Song and Yuan Dynasties in the Palace Museum" has been widely welcomed by the public.

From September 7th to October 7th, the museum will display a total of 10 national treasure-level ancient calligraphy and painting masterpieces in the third phase.

After October 7, the collection of treasures will return to the Palace Museum, where they will be dormant in the warehouse for at least three years, during which time they will no longer be displayed.

The third phase of the exhibition includes the painting of "Deer Mingzhi" by Ma Hezhi, a painter of the Southern Song Dynasty.

This work is one volume in the series of paintings of the Book of Songs created by Ma Hezhi.

The whole volume of books and paintings consists of 10 paragraphs. The original text of the Book of Songs in small regular script is in front of each paragraph, and the picture is after the text.

The author seizes a certain detail in the original poem, gives full play to his subjective imagination, and uses an easy-to-understand painting language to draw the illustrations of the "Book of Songs" known as three hundred chapters. It is a huge project in painting creation, and can be called the oldest. Illustrated books have very high historical and cultural value.
