In order to convey the Olympic spirit of "higher, faster, stronger and more united", Beijing International Studies University, Feng Zikai Research Association and Beijing Comic Society jointly hosted the second "Baitang Cup" National College Students Creative Comic Contest.

The competition attracted 171 domestic and foreign universities including Central Academy of Fine Arts, China Academy of Art, Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts, Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts, Renmin University of China, Beihang University, Southwest University, Beijing Film Academy, Waseda University, etc. The active participation of non-art colleges and universities accounted for 46%, and art colleges accounted for 54%.
Over the past five months, hundreds of schools and thousands of people have worked together to paint, with the theme of the Beijing Winter Olympics' call for "together toward the future", with the unique perspective of young college students, using cartoons to vividly tell Chinese stories and spread Chinese culture.
Many of these excellent works show the powerful power of the Chinese spirit in the changing times, such as the patriotic feelings of the big picture and the big self contained in the excellent traditional Chinese culture; the struggle spirit of hard work and success; rooted in reality, The innovative spirit of bravely climbing the peak; the dedication spirit of public and selfless, immersed in deep cultivation, etc.
The competition received a total of 2,955 pieces (groups) of entries from home and abroad. After fierce competition and strict evaluation, a total of 100 pieces (groups) of works from 62 schools were successfully awarded.
The Organizing Committee of the 2nd "Baitang Cup" National College Students Creative Comic Contest would like to extend warm congratulations to all the winners and sincere thanks to all the judges, experts, scholars and teachers, students and friends!
