Pieces of rose flowers with strong aroma and full shape enter the assembly line. After the process of feeding, extracting, refluxing, and receiving pure dew, the pale yellow rose essential oil is extracted from Damascus roses. In the middle and late September, Aba Prefecture, Sichuan Province The Damascus roses in Xiaojin County are at the end of the picking.

"Whenever roses bloom, the villagers' faces are full of joy of harvest and bright smiles. Seeing them happy makes me very happy." "Sister Rose" Chen Wanghui said.

Chen Wanghui is a representative of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and secretary of the Party branch of Maoshui Village, Dawei Town, Xiaojin County.

Someone once said that "Little Golden Rose" started from nothing and has gone through a lot of ups and downs. Sister Rose used the idea of "crazy" and the practice of "idiot" to achieve the "Little Golden Rose" industry, and became rich with a single rose. Family.

As a sample of poverty alleviation by characteristic industries in Tibet-related areas in Sichuan, in the past ten years, "Xiaojin Rose" has embarked on a "road to prosperity": "the hometown of roses on the plateau in the world" Xiaojin County has planted 15,000 mu of roses, covering 13 townships, 46 In this village, radiation has driven more than 3,200 households with more than 20,000 people to increase their income.

In 2011, Chen Wanghui, who runs a catering business abroad, was selected as the director of Maoshui Village.

Maoshui Village is located at the foot of Jiajin Mountain, the first snow-capped mountain that the Central Red Army crossed during the Long March. The land here is barren and wild boars are rampant. It is a typical poverty-stricken village.

Talking about why Xiaojin County chose to develop the rose industry in the first place, Chen Wanghui said with a smile that Xiaojin's rose industry was "bitten by wild boars".

In 2011, when Chen Wanghui inspected crops destroyed by wild boars in the mid-level of Gaoshan, she accidentally found a few roses waiting to bloom on the edge of the ground.

Because the stems are thorny, wild boars cannot eat them.

This discovery gave her the idea of planting roses.

After visiting seven provinces to study rose varieties and planting benefits, Chen Wanghui established a professional rose planting cooperative in Maoshui Village in 2012.

With village cadres and party members taking the lead in trial planting, more than 60 acres of roses bloomed very well.

Later, this batch of roses was transported to Kushui Town, Lanzhou, Gansu Province for processing. The refined rose essential oil was unanimously recognized by colleagues and experts. They believed that the planting environment in Xiaojin County was green and ecological, and the roses had a long flowering period, high oil content and pure aroma.

This makes Chen Wanghui more determined to develop the rose industry.

The development of "Little Golden Rose" has not been a smooth road. Behind its thriving scene today is the transformation of ordinary people from "unwilling to plant" to "voluntary planting".

Although roses are planted every year, some people are skeptical and do not think that roses can replace crops, and the management of flower fields is not attentive. In addition, the rose varieties are not of high quality, and the survival rate of "little golden roses" was very low earlier.

Chen Wanghui had to increase the price to buy flowers, so that the common people could benefit, and at the same time updated the varieties and planted Damascus roses with better yield and quality.

After gradually improving, Chen Wanghui increased investment, built a rose processing factory in the village, and introduced production lines for the processing and production of rose essential oil, pure dew, scented tea, sauce, and flower cakes. "Development Model.

This model does not require the transfer of peasant households' land, and ordinary people get more for their own land.

As the reputation of "Little Golden Rose" began to spread, roses were not worried about selling, and the common people also showed bright smiles on their faces, and followed Chen Wanghui to plant roses "dedicatedly".

"There used to be more than 100 households in a village, but only three or four were '10,000-yuan households'. After planting roses, the income of almost every household has undergone tremendous changes." Chen Wanghui said that in addition to significant income growth, roses also promote people's ideas Change, "Now everyone is full of passion and self-confidence in life, and more and more united, looking forward to common prosperity."

After the outbreak, overseas orders for "Little Golden Roses" exported to Bulgaria, New Zealand, South Korea and other countries were canceled in large numbers.

In the face of market pressure, Chen Wanghui, who was only responsible for rose planting and processing before, took the initiative to join the sales front line and came to Guangzhou with rose essential oil cosmetics on her back to open up new markets and establish new sales channels.

"It is almost impossible for the industry to develop without encountering difficulties, but there are always more solutions than difficulties. After the epidemic is stabilized, the market will gradually recover, and I am very confident in this." Chen Wanghui said.

With the further advancement of the rural revitalization strategy, Chen Wanghui has a bigger blueprint in mind: to connect the rose industry with rural revitalization, and to develop a cultural tourism industry that integrates plateau roses and red culture on the basis of primary and secondary industries.

"After planting roses, each village has its own scenery." Chen Wanghui said that Maoshui Village is updating its infrastructure, and many villagers are also stepping up to renovate their houses and courtyards to "charge" to attract tourists. "The village will develop in the future. It's getting better and better." (End)
