If approved at the meeting, it is expected to start vaccination from the 24th of this month.
Regarding vaccination of children, the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare approved the domestic use of Pfizer's vaccine for children aged 6 months to 4 years on the 5th, and on the 7th, it was possible to receive free of charge at a subcommittee made by experts. We showed policy to assume public inoculation.
If approved by the subcommittee, we plan to start vaccination from the 24th of this month after completing the necessary procedures, and plan to deliver a total of 7 million doses of vaccine to local governments by the end of next month.
So far, the target age of the vaccine is

The amount of active ingredient is 1/10 of the adult vaccine, and 3 doses are required, with the 2nd dose 3 weeks apart, followed by the 3rd dose at least 8 weeks apart, according to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare. Regarding the method of inoculation, it is a policy to make it "individual inoculation" at a pediatric clinic.
