Menyuan Xianmi National Forest Park is the largest natural forest area in Qinghai Province. Due to the influence of the Qilian Mountains, the park is rich in surface water and groundwater resources. It is the birthplace of many Yellow River water systems in the south and many inland water system rivers in the north.
