The two of us grew up in the Qilian Mountains. Our ancestors used to live by water and grass, and lived a nomadic life.
After these years of development, we have lived in new houses, settled in new homes, and lived a community life as urbanites. The herdsmen around us also opened farmhouses and ate tourist meals.
In autumn, I walked into Xiliugou Village, Dahe Township, with neat courtyards and thousands of green trees and ornamental flowers such as pines and cypresses and golden-leaf elm planted on both sides of the village roads.
In the herdsman Wang Zhongyi's house, four guest rooms with different styles are distributed in the courtyard, and functional areas such as restaurant, self-service kitchen, and sanitary shower room are all available.
At his self-service barbecue camp, several families from neighboring counties are showing their skills and cooking "farm taste" with soil stoves.
Xiliugou Village explores and implements rural tourism projects such as the development of folk customs experience tours and outdoor camping expansion tours, and cultivates tourism industries focusing on farmhouse catering, characteristic homestays, outdoor barbecues, and expansion bases.
In the past, the village was mainly based on crops and animal husbandry.
Due to the small area of arable land and grassland per capita, the output of agriculture and animal husbandry is not high. Later, in the adjustment of the industrial structure, combined with the wishes of farmers and herdsmen, the whole village was banned from grazing, and the advantages of being located in suburban villages were used to transform the industry into labor export, and Farm catering industry.
In recent years, rural tourism has been developed around the village's natural endowments, idyllic scenery and Danxia landform.
In Kangle Town, our hometown, there is a village called Yumuzhuang. In the past, we basically lived on grazing. Now this village relies on the geographical advantages of being close to the colorful Danxia, running through the Binggou Danxia, and being close to the Kangle grassland. Cultural tourism industry.
The village has now built 12 characteristic homestays of two types, supporting the construction of health trails, landscape water systems, leisure gardens and other facilities, planting thousands of green trees and ornamental flowers such as pine and cypress, begonia, golden leaf elm, etc., enhancing the village tourism service function and leisure tourism charm.
Zhao Xuelong, a college student who returned home to start a business in Kangle Town, told us: "Now the village has become beautiful, and I am full of confidence when I go home to start a business. I have sold yak meat and yak yogurt on live broadcasts, and I have also created my own brand to promote hometown publicity, tourism and culture. A little contribution."
In Baiyin Mongolian Township opposite Kangle Town, the yurts used by herdsmen have been reused and become a handicraft display area and a tasting area for ethnic snacks.
The newly built Mongolian yurt hotels are arranged by the Liyuan River. The outside is full of ethnic charm. After entering, it retains the original dome and other elements of the yurt, and the clean and tidy beds and bathroom supplies are not inferior to luxury hotels.
At present, the hometown of Sunan is steadily promoting the common development of the county's ecological enrichment, stable animal husbandry, industrial enrichment, cultural tourism, balanced and common prosperity, and the prosperity of the whole people, and carefully depicts the common prosperity of all ethnic groups.
