Recently, Shanghai's century-old "Tianhou Palace" was unveiled after its protective repairs, along with the reconstructed Shikumen Lane Shenyuli.

Built in 1884, the "Tianhou Palace" is an ancient palace-style building in the south of the Yangtze River. It is also the largest, most complete, and highest-standard Mazu Temple in Shanghai history.

At present, the stage, the gatehouse and the east and west viewing towers of the "Tianhou Palace" have been restored.

The restored "Tianhou Palace" will open to tourists as a cultural exhibition space in December 2022.

"Shenyuli" was built in the 1920s and 1930s.

In 2012, it was protectively demolished in order to cooperate with the urban renewal project.

The restored "Shenyuli" is completely restored according to the historical surveying drawings, restoring the traditional craftsmanship of Qingshui old brick walls, solid wood windows and water brushed stones.
