"Community" fans rejoice.

The mythical series would be entitled to a sequel in the form of a film, seven years after the end of the television program.

Most of the actresses and actors from the show will be back in the feature film which will be produced by Sony Picture and NBCUniversal.

No release date has yet been announced.

The big trend in the United States is to resuscitate programs that have disappeared.

The legendary

Community

series is no exception to the rule.

Seven years after the end of its broadcast, it will have the right to a film, after six seasons.

Most returning actresses and actors in film

As often, when these projects are announced, we don't have many more details.

And this is also the case with the film adaptation of

Community.

We just know that it is indeed the creator of the program Dan Harmon who is in charge of the feature film and that most of the actresses and actors will be back.

No release date

Joel McHale, who plays one of the main characters, mentioned all of his colleagues on social media when breaking the news.

We already know that Chevy Chase (Pierce), angry with the series team, will be absent.

On the other hand Danny Pudi (Abed), Alison Brie (Annie), Gillian Jacobs (Britta), Jim Rash (the dean) and Ken Jeong (Señor Chang) have already answered present.

A few names may be missing, according to some American media, but nothing has been confirmed or denied by production.

The film will be produced by Sony Pictures and NBCUniversal.

It will probably be broadcast on the Peacock streaming platform but no date has been communicated as to the future release.
