The Nobel Prize in Chemistry goes to 3 scientists

Three scientists, Caroline Bertozzi, Barry Sharples (America) and Morten Meldahl (Denmark), won the 2022 Nobel Prize in Chemistry today, Wednesday, for their contributions to "the development of click-through chemistry and orthogonal biochemistry".

Sharples, 81, is the fifth person to win the award twice, achieving a rare achievement.

The prize is issued by the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences and is worth 10 million Swedish kronor ($915,072).
