The video made the rounds of the web and the media within days.

The naturalist Pierre Rigaux published last Sunday his exchange with a hunter posted at the edge of departmental 2, in the Drôme, and ready to target game on the other side of the road.

A practice prohibited for obvious security reasons, especially since the man was not wearing the orange vest, which was compulsory.

Éric Grangier, president of the approved hunting association of Saint-Laurent-en-Royans (Drôme) which organized the beat, reacted to the

, in an article published on Wednesday.

He explains that he "discussed at length" with the hunter in question.

“I can't understand it and I'm angry.

(…) This man has been hunting with us for two years and we have never had any problems with him.

"All hunters will suffer"

Éric Grangier claims to have suspended this man "from any activity on the territory of the association" and explains that he is now waiting for the legal consequences.

“We have invested in security and the messages are repeated.

(…) Unfortunately, this story will impact us for some time and all hunters will suffer,” he regrets.

Éric Grangier also questions the attitude of Pierre Rigaux, who according to him "put pressure on the hunter" and did not broadcast other exchanges filmed the same day: "I regret that he does not show the videos in which he is answered correctly.
