The Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture) is preparing to launch its “Reading Box” initiative, to receive readers of all age groups in its realistic version at Mirdif City Center from 19 to 28 October.

With its return to its previous era, the Reading Box will welcome lovers of culture and the written word under its umbrella to enjoy a range of activities aimed at promoting the culture of reading among members of society, especially young people, from literary sessions, telling stories to children, and interactive workshops that discuss important cultural issues, And other activities that contribute to making reading a way of life and part of the daily practices of community members in Mirdif City Centre.

The Dubai Culture and Arts Authority will announce the full program of the initiative during the coming period.

The initiative is part of a series of programs through which the authority seeks to build a reading community that uses science and knowledge as a means of development and civilizational upgrading.

As part of its rapid adaptation to the circumstances of the crisis, Dubai Culture launched a digital version of the Reading Box, in conjunction with the National Reading Month in 2021, through which it provided a variety of educational workshops rich in usefulness and fun.
