Three people killed the Turkish musician and singer, Onur Şener, in the Turkish capital, Ankara, after he refused to perform a song they asked him to perform during a singing party.

The incident occurred on the evening of Sunday, October 2, in the Cankaya district of Ankara. Turkish media said that a group of attendees asked the singer to perform a certain song, and Şener responded to one of them, saying: "Do not interfere in my work."

According to the sources, the verbal quarrel quickly turned into beatings using sharp bottles, as a result of which Shner, aged 45, suffered severe neck wounds that led to his death.

The authorities arrested the three accused of killing him, and the Turkish Minister of Culture and Tourism, Mehmet Nur Ersoy, said that they will pursue the case of Şener's murder, and that they want the killers to receive the punishment they deserve, according to what CNN Turk reported.
