On April 23, the tourist boat KAZU 1, carrying a total of 26 passengers and crew, sank (19 tons) off the coast of the Shiretoko Peninsula. I don't know.

Missing people have been found in Bunkichi Bay and Keikichi Bay on the west side of the peninsula near the sinking site, and the 1st Regional Coast Guard Headquarters conducted a search in this area again on the 4th.

As a result, the diver found 15 new bone-like objects and one transportation IC card with the name of the missing person written on it.

In the future, the Japan Coast Guard Headquarters will cooperate with the police to carry out DNA analysis and other tests to check in detail whether it is a human bone, and will return the collected IC card to the family.

The search along the coast of the Shiretoko Peninsula will continue for five days.
