"Heart of Parma"

An epic historical drama with elements of fantasy by Anton Megerdichev (“Metro”, “Upward Movement”) is an adaptation of the novel of the same name by Alexei Ivanov.

At the center of the story is the love between Prince Michael and the witch Tiche against the backdrop of unfolding political intrigues, a thirst for revenge and an inevitable war.

The lovers belong not only to different peoples and cultures, but also to different worlds, so neither side maintains this connection.

They have to go a long and thorny path to fight for their love and protect their native parma.

The action of the tape takes place in the 15th century, during the reign of Ivan III, thanks to whose efforts the scattered Russian lands and peoples will unite into great Russia.

The central roles in the film were played by Alexander Kuznetsov, Elena Erbakova, Evgeny Mironov, Sergey Puskepalis and Vitaly Kishchenko.

Initially, Sergei Bodrov, Sr., was supposed to be the director of the film, but due to his employment, the cinematographer remained in the project only as a screenwriter along with Ilya Tilkin and other authors.

Filming took place in the Perm Territory and in the Moscow Region, where authentic scenery of medieval cities with stone fortresses and wooden houses was rebuilt.

The picture was first presented at the 44th MIFF.

"Breath"

The plot of Roman Karimov's social drama revolves around doctors who worked in the red zone during the lockdown.

The film raises the theme of the doctor's personality crisis.

In the center of the story is the former doctor Viktor, who, due to a professional mistake, had to go into pharmaceuticals.

After the new coronavirus infection swept the world in March 2020, and the hero’s mother was among the first patients quarantined, Victor faced a difficult choice.

To be close to his mother, at a critical moment he needs to return to the hospital, wearing a white coat again, or become a “covid” patient.

A man will have to look his fears in the eye and take risks to save his loved one.

The director, who previously directed Inadequate People, wrote the script for the film together with Andrey Goncharov, for whom this work became his debut.

"Godfather" (Godfather)

The South Indian crime thriller is a remake of another Indian film, Lucifer.

The director of The Godfather was Mohan Raja (Messenger of Destiny).

The plot of the picture revolves around a mysterious man who intends to seize power after the death of a previous political leader.

The main role in the film was played by Chiranjeevi, an actor known to some Russian viewers by video memes.

In one, he slips under a truck on a horse, as if on a motorcycle ("Alluda Mazaaka! .."), and in the other, he dances disco, turning into a vampire ("Thief").

Often, his characters have heroic power - in the film "Bruce Lee - a fighter" the hero, for example, one easily coped with dozens of opponents, even without looking at them.

In the new tape, the 67-year-old artist will also appear in the role of a tough guy.

A separate surprise of the picture will be the appearance in the cameo of the Bollywood superstar Salman Khan (“Love and Betrayal”, “Forever Yours”, “The Only One”).

The film is released on October 5th.

"Keeper of Secrets" (Objetos)

The film is co-produced by Spain, Argentina and Germany, touching on topics such as human trafficking, child theft and illegal adoption.

The protagonist Mario, played by Alvaro Morte ("The Paper House"), is a closed employee of the lost and found office, for whom things matter the most.

He is obsessed with finding the owners of lost items and fixing them.

One day, Mario discovers a suitcase containing the remains of a baby.

The discouraged man, realizing that the police will not investigate, sets out to find the mother of the child.

A chain of subsequent events leads him into the world of trafficking, where people are treated like an object (hence the original name - "Objects").

He finds Sarah (Maria Eugenia Suárez Rivero), a prostitute who is being held as a slave.

Nacho Lopez was inspired to write the script by events from his own life: in the past he worked in a lost and found office, where he had to use the ingenuity of a detective to find the owners of lost things.

Passengers of the Night

After many years of marriage, the husband leaves the woman, and the care of two teenage children falls on her shoulders.

Learning to live again, Elizabeth takes a job on the late-night radio show Passengers of the Night.

In it, people talk about the difficulties they face.

Once on the show, the heroine meets 18-year-old Talulah.

Imbued with sympathy for her, Elizabeth decides to take care of the girl.
