The number of medium and high risk areas increased to 92.
According to Liu Chile, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Hohhot Center for Disease Control and Prevention, from 0 to 24:00 on October 3, Hohhot added 144 new confirmed local cases of new coronary pneumonia and 225 asymptomatic infections.
As of 24:00 on October 3, Hohhot had reported a total of 265 confirmed cases and 248 asymptomatic infections.
"At present, the epidemic is still developing, and new cases are still mainly concentrated in key areas." Liu Chile said.
From 18:00 on October 3, 2022, Hohhot will adjust the medium and high-risk areas. As of now, there are 78 high-risk areas and 14 medium-risk areas in the city.
The reporter learned from the press conference that Hohhot has set up a "yellow code hospital" for people in medium and high-risk areas and isolation places, mainly to meet the medical needs of patients with fever, common diseases, and non-critical critical illnesses.
Pregnant women and newborns are arranged to be sent to specialized medical institutions for treatment.
Patients are transported in a "point-to-point" closed-loop manner by special personnel, special vehicles or 120 ambulances.
Liu Chile said that the construction of the Fangcang shelter hospital in Hohhot has been completed, and 201 doctors and 794 nurses of the Fangcang shelter medical team have been reserved.
"According to the epidemic situation, at present, 117 medical staff with anti-epidemic experience have formed the first cabin medical team." Liu Chile said.
