The government has compiled a list of key points, including calling on both labor and management to raise wages to cover rising prices.

This will be reflected in the new comprehensive economic measures.

The government will hold a meeting of the "New Capitalism Realization Council" and implement it early based on the overall concept and implementation plan of "New Capitalism" decided in June this year in order to respond to price hikes and yen depreciation. We have summarized the key points to be done.

According to this, in addition to requesting both labor and management to discuss raising wages that can cover price rises at next year's spring labor offensive, there are malicious cases such as pushing soaring raw material prices on the Fair Trade Commission to subcontractors. If there is, we will ask them to take in-depth measures, such as announcing the name of the company, and will create an environment in which wage increases for small and medium-sized enterprises can be realized.

In addition, we will invest 1 trillion yen in 5 years to support re-learning to work in growth fields, and increase the number of young entrepreneurs who want to be sent overseas to 1,000 over the next 5 years to foster startup companies. And so on.

At the meeting, we confirmed the policy to reflect these priority items in the new comprehensive economic measures to be formulated at the end of this month.

Prime Minister Kishida said, "I would like to ask the relevant ministers to cooperate with the ruling party and steadily implement the priority items."
