The family of Prince Akishino met with princesses of Bhutan who are visiting Japan.

Prince Akishino and his wife, their second daughter Kako, and eldest son Hisahito met with Princess Sonam, younger sister of King Wangchuck of Bhutan, at their residence in Akasaka Imperial Land in Minato Ward, Tokyo, from around 3:00 pm on the 3rd. rice field.



The princess was in Japan to attend the state funeral of former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, among other things, and her two sons, the princes, also attended her visit.



After seeing the osmanthus flowers blooming in the garden with the princess and others, the Prince Akishino and his family interacted peacefully for about an hour without the intervention of an interpreter.



The Akishino family and the royal family of Bhutan have a deep relationship. In 1997, the couple made an official visit to Bhutan.
