A major water cut affected two-thirds of the homes in the town of Blanc-Mesnil (Seine-Saint-Denis) at the end of the week.
According to Actu Seine-Saint-Denis, a burst pipe overnight from Thursday to Friday would be the cause.
“An operational incident is affecting the distribution of running water in the commune of Blanc-Mesnil.

Problem solved
Many homes and a hospital were deprived of running water for a few minutes, specify our colleagues.
A solution was finally found with the Syndicat des eaux d'Île-de-France (Sedif) to solve the problem.
The damaged pipe was recovered and replaced.
By midday on Friday, some homes were still without water.
Bottles were made available to affected households and in an Ehpad.
