The Ministry of Defense said a Chinese navy frigate sailed east in the East China Sea about 50 kilometers north of Aguni Island in Okinawa Prefecture on the 2nd, then headed north along the west side of the Nansei Islands, and then on the 3rd. It announced that it is sailing westward in an area about 90 kilometers southwest of the Kusagaki Islands in Kagoshima Prefecture.
