The Emirates Publishers Association is participating in the Riyadh International Book Fair, which started on September 29 and will continue until October 8, with 2,625 books transferred by the association to visitors to the Riyadh Fair through the “Platform” project that it created to introduce the publications of member publishers in international book fairs at the Arab level. and global.

The books on display included 261 of the latest titles issued by 30 publishers from members of the association, covering various creative genres in the fields of arts, literature, knowledge, sciences, arts and translations, and shedding light on the literary scene in the UAE through the authors' latest productions of stories, novels, poetry collections and critical studies.

The association’s delegation, headed by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of “Emirati Publishers” Ali bin Hatem, had participated in the sessions of the publishers conference that preceded the launch of the Riyadh International Book Fair, and brought together book makers and cultural experts over the past 27 and 28 September and discussed issues related to the culture of reading and providing diverse content for readers .

During the conference, the delegation of the Emirates Publishers Association met with representatives of Arab and international publishing companies and organizations participating in the sessions, conveying the UAE’s experience in supporting the book industry and providing an attractive environment for investors in the creative industries sector and the traditions established by the UAE in the field of protecting the rights of authors and publishers and helping emerging publishing houses to present their publications in International fairs.

The Emirates Publishers Association invited publishers, authors and those interested in learning about Emirati creativity to visit the association's pavilion at the Riyadh International Book Fair to view the publications of Emirati publishing houses, and learn about the association's efforts in expanding the participation of its members and exchanging experiences on buying and selling translation and printing rights.
