The center of Korean forensic investigation, the National Institute for Forensic Science (hereinafter referred to as the National Forensic Service), is all open to the public.

On October 2nd, 'SBS Special' will return as a Lab series.

The 'SBS Special' Lab series contains the meaning of changing thoughts and struggling to find the truth.

The first topic, 'National Forensic Service', will show the vivid reality of the forensic field in three episodes.

The production team of 'SBS Special' closely covered the actual investigation process of the National Forensic Service, such as fire scene identification, traffic accident analysis, bloodstain analysis, and autopsy, for six months.

In addition, the case file of the National Forensic Service, which has not been known until now, will also be released.

The story unfolds in three parts, a place where the truth is revealed only with the power of science.

The field of the National Forensic Service was more dangerous, poor, and shocking than expected.

From the smell of a rotten body, to the scene of a fire where you have to wear a thick dust-proof suit in midsummer, to the scene of a blood-stained incident.

We must overcome the limitations of limited time and insufficient manpower.

People from the National Forensic Service say that if you focus only on solving the case, you will give up your personal life and health.

Nevertheless, they go on a search for the truth today with a sense of mission to ensure that no one is injustice.

An urgent day of the gukgusu, the records of strange incidents are vividly unfolded with the voices of the guksusu people.

Gyeongmu Yang, a forensic officer who has witnessed numerous deaths while working for the National Forensic Service for 24 years.

He has been in charge of autopsies for fall deaths over the past few years.

The trigger was the autopsy of Mr. A, who died after falling down a walkway under the subway line 2.

In Mr. A, a fracture of the sternum in the center of the chest, which is difficult to see as a sign of death from a fall, was found.

Whether it was a murder or an accident, it was not easy to determine anything.

However, after some time, Mr. B, who fell from another place, found the same damage as Mr. A.

With a new clue that can solve the mystery of the fall, will the concerns of Forensic Officer Yang Kyung-moo be solved?

A fatal accident case was urgently requested by Lee Yeon-seop, an industrial researcher in the Traffic and Accident Analysis Office.

An incident at an unpopulated intersection resulted in the overturning of a car and the death of one driver.

However, there was no black box or CCTV footage that could tell the moment of the accident.

He started an analysis to determine the cause of the accident only from the tire marks left on the road and the traces left on the car.

After receiving a request from the police to reveal the identity and cause of the dead body, Kim Eui-joo, the youngest forensic officer in the third year of this year, started an autopsy.

The skin turned like dirt as if years had passed since he died, and even the mysterious feathers covering the body.

Forensic officer Kim Eui-ju paid attention to the unusual appearance of the body and began to record the condition of the bones without hesitation.

Will she be able to solve the dead body of the skeleton?

The body and belongings of the murder victim were brought into the autopsy room.

A total of 19 wounds were found on the victim's body.

Forensic Prosecutor Lee Soo-kyung compared the weapons and oil found at the scene with the damage left on the body.

He says that evidence at the scene can be a decisive clue to reveal the cause of the victim.

In the face of his tragic death, his hand became more cautious.

Sometimes insufficient clues, sometimes inexplicable traces, make the National Forensic Sciences researcher troubled by revealing the truth.

However, they say that they will not give up and pursue the truth of death to the end so as not to cause any injustice.

The first part of 'National Fruit Tree' prepared by 'SBS Special' and 'Death Chaser' will be broadcast on Sunday, October 2 at 11:05 pm.
