In the early hours of October 1, two ships of the China Coast Guard intruded into Japanese territorial waters off the coast of the Senkaku Islands in Okinawa Prefecture and showed movement to approach Japanese fishing boats.

According to the 11th Regional Coast Guard Headquarters, at around 3:13 a.m. on October 1, two ships of the China Coast Guard entered Japanese territorial waters one after another off Minamikojima Island in the Senkaku Islands, and a Japanese fishing vessel. It means that it showed a movement to approach one ship.



As of 3:30 am today, the two ships are sailing in Japanese territorial waters about 18 kilometers south-southeast of Minamikojima Island to match the movement of the fishing boats, so the Japan Coast Guard Headquarters is sailing a patrol boat around the fishing boats. and ensure the safety of fishing boats.



It has also continued to warn two Chinese Coast Guard ships to leave its territorial waters immediately.



This is the 22nd time since September 28 that a Chinese Coast Guard ship has been confirmed to have intruded into Japan's territorial waters off the Senkaku Islands.
