Ryan Reynolds knows how to set fire to the powder with his movie announcements.

While the

actor revealed earlier this week that his friend Hugh Jackman would return in the third installment of the franchise, in the guise of Wolverine, the Canadian knew he was going to have to explain himself.

Indeed: Wolverine dies at the end of

Logan

, released in 2017. And Hugh Jackman always said that his appearance in the film would be the last.

Logan

is set in the year 2029. It's totally different.

I Will Always Love You

.

One thing is certain: the complicity between the two stars is there and risks causing sparks on the set.

Deadpool 3

is due out on September 6, 2024.
