According to the Ministry of Defense, four ships, including a Russian navy frigate, and three ships, including a Chinese navy missile destroyer, sailed westward in the Pacific Ocean around the Izu Islands from the 26th to the 27th of this month. After that, the seven ships passed through the Osumi Strait in Kagoshima Prefecture from the 28th to the 29th and entered the East China Sea, and then sailed in two lines.



This is the second time that ships from both countries have jointly transited the Osumi Strait since last October.
