R Kelly must pay $300,668, approximately SEK 3.4 million, to a woman who during the trial went by the name "Jane" and $8,400, approximately SEK 94,000, to a woman called "Stephanie".
The damages relate to the first trial in New York, where R Kelly, actually Robert Kelly, was sentenced to 30 years in prison - a sentence he has already started serving.
He was also recently convicted in an Illinois court of sexual assault, grooming and child pornography offenses.
The artist is still awaiting word on the length of the sentence and compensation claims in the second trial.
