While we wonder if hair loss could be a sequel to Covid-19 infection, it is unfortunately a sad reality for cancer patients who have undergone chemotherapy.

Fortunately, an association is mobilizing to recover natural hair "offered" by individuals and make wigs from it for "people with a disease that causes hair loss, such as cancer, but also alopecia, etc.

says Fake Hair Don't Care member Cynthia.

Gifts “long or short, colored or discolored”

The association receives more than 2,500 donations per month: “There are large locks of 30/40 centimeters, smaller ones, and we have partner hairdressers who send us large boxes.

We receive all types of hair: colored, bleached, long, short”.

It is then up to the wigmaker to process the hair, prepare it and then create the wigs.

“Our wig makers are volunteers, underlines Cynthia, but we are obliged to ask for a contribution on which we make no profit, which is just used to reimburse the products used”.
