Chestnut tigers, also known as butterflies that migrate over 2,000 kilometers like migratory birds, fly to Miyata Village in Nagano Prefecture to entertain visitors.

Chestnut tiger butterflies are butterflies with black wings that are about 10 centimeters wide and have beautiful pale blue patterns.

At the "Asagi Madara no Sato" in Miyata Village, they began to appear from the beginning of this month, and recently, there are days when about 300 to 600 chestnut tiger butterflies can be seen in a day.

Visitors had fun taking pictures of Fujibakama, one of the seven autumn herbs, flying around and sucking nectar.

A woman in the village who visited with her family and relatives said, "I saw it for the first time, but the feathers were transparent and beautiful."

Mr. Masatoshi Kikuchi, who is a guide, said, "I want you to enjoy the beautiful appearance of chestnut tiger butterflies flying against the background of flowers and blue sky."

At the Chestnut Madara Village in Miyata Village, it is likely to be seen until the end of this month.
